The most common use of a digital certificate is to verify that a user sending a message is who he or she claims to be, and to provide the receiver with the means to encode a reply. A Digital Certificate is a digital file used to cryptographically bind an entity's Public Key to specific attributes relating to its identity.

Digital Certificates are issued by Certification Authorities (CA). Like a central trusted body is used to issue driving licenses or passports, a CA fulfils the role of the Trusted Third Party by accepting Certificate applications from entities, authenticating applications, issuing Certificates and maintaining status information about the Certificates issued.

You can create new Secure Certificates when registering or modifying your user information in User Center . Download the user cert file and user keypair file, and you can choose the download tools or select "save as" by right mouse click if the browser open the file directly.
The Secure Certificate on our web will expire in 10 years.Please be careful of saving your private key.

All Secure Certificates on CROWN are signed by the private key of the Root CA Certificate. You can download the Root CA Certificate to check up whether your CA certificates are signed by trusty CA. Revoked Certificates List are record of the Certificates that you have revoked, but this function is not available now.

You can see the list of all your Certificates,including revoked Certificates, in User Center after log in. And you can input the query string in the query textbox，which will be searched in the distinguished name area，to find out all matched entries. By the way, the query string can only be letters and numeric characters now.

After you download the private key file, double-click it to install.After you installed the private key, then you can log in via User Client Certificate.

You can't get back your password if you've forgotten your password. Please re-register.

Resource Center is a centralized exposition about grid resource in CROWN portal. User can see the topology structure of CROWN, including particular information of RLDS and Service,and static and dynamic information of Computing Node,and furthermore search service by three different methods here.

RLDS, Resource Location & Description Service ，answer for release, lookup, modify and delete of resource information. CROWN organizes computing resource by RLDS, and User can search information of distributed RLDS by Portal. A Node Sever is a computing node, that is a container with CROWN Grid Service, which is organized by RLDS. Node Server provides services and is enrolled in a RLDS.

You can not use services in Resource Center, but you can select a application to commit jobs in Application Center.

Resource tree will refresh at intervals. Resource tree will update RLDS if user clicked it and the time exceeded the update period, but Node Servers and Services will refresh as long as user clicked them.

Click on a RLDS in the resource tree, then input key word, which can only be English or Numeric Characters now, and select scope of search on the right.

You can click application tree to find the applications available and see its basic information and statistics information. After you clicked an application, you can submit a new job to it.

A job can have 7 kinds of status, pending, matchmaking, ready, executing, finished, error, terminated. You can submit a new job in Application Center, then job status is pending, and you can also cancel it in your job list.

Schedule Policy determine which computing node is selected for your job, including random policy, CPU capacity first policy, Memory capacity first policy and nearest first policy. You can select Schedule Policy at the third step of submitting a job.
